Outing to Midvalley and Gardens
|

This was my second outing with Mummy and Abah. This time however, Baba and Mama Ya came too. First we all hed breakfast at Delifrance. They all ate croissonts and eggs but i had fresh yummy mummy's milk. Then we went to The Gardens. I felt quite cold so Abah bought me a cute white cardigan with pink stipes. We also had a short stop at the Nursery Room in Isetan because I wanted bit more milk and then needed a diaper change. Mummy went gaga over the lovely Nursery Room. She says it's interior is so stylish and inviting. After that I didn;t want to sit in my stroller so Abah had to carry me around. When Abah started to get tired, he put on the baby carrier and I sat in there. I fell asleep in the baby carrier because it felt nice to be carried around by Abah. After about 3 hours at The Gardens and Midvalley, we all decided to have lunch at The Teapot Cafe.

My third month & Miss Baldy

Latest Update after my 3rd month Check Up:
Weight: 5.91kg
Height: 59.5 cm
Head circumference: 42 cm
On 24 January Baba and Habib, shaved my head while Mummy and Abah were at work. Poor Mummy and Abah came home to find me bald. Mama Ya said that I cried for a few minutes but was otherwise OK throughout the shaving session. Lucky for mummy, I wasn't fussy that night and slept as normal.
Apart from that this month I have started smiling and have not stopped smiling ever since. Every time Mummy greets me I will give her a wide smile. I know that when Mummy is around I will get to drink lots of milk anytime I want. Syukur Alhamdulillah, I am still drinking lots of Mummy's yummy breast milk and have not had to drink any formula milk. Hope this will carry on for months to come.
Anyway, on 18 February I will have to pay another visit to the lovely doctor for my 3rd month immunisation. I've got to get another 2 jabs. Mummy is praying that I will be good like I was during my 2nd month immunisation and will not get any fever afterwards.

Playtime with abah/mummy

2nd Month Updates

I’m now getting so big that I can no longer fit into the swaddling blanket. So now I a free to stretch my arms and legs. Yeay!!
On 18 January, I visited SJMC with Mummy and Mama Ya to see my paediatrician. I was sleeping when I arrived and slept through when the nurse weighed me and measured my height and head circumference. I carried on sleeping even when we went in to see the doctor. According to Dr. Siti, I am developing well. Then came the time for me to receive my 2nd month immunisations, the triple antigent (DPT, HIB and Polio) shot and another for the Pneumococcal virus. I was awakened by the doctor because she didn’t want me to be startled by the jabs. The first jab was administered on my left thigh and I cried for a few seconds. Then a few minutes later the other jab was given on my other thigh. This time I cried for a bit longer. By the time we left the doctors office I was no longer crying. Mummy and Mama Ya said that I was a very good girl. After Mummy paid for the hospital visit, we had to wait for Baba to come fetch us. But I was starting to feel hungry, so Mummy had to breastfeed me for the first time in public. Luckily Mummy brought her nursing cover. So I got to drink in peace and Mummy wasn’t exposed.
As you can see, I like to play with Mummy and Abah (although there are more pictures of me playing with Abah than with Mummy). I like to try and climb over Abah's tummy. But when I can't climb high enough I start to get frustrated and make lots of noises. I also have a lovely playgym as one of my gifts and like to look at the toys dangling from the playgym. Hoevevr, I think I'm not big enough to start making full use of the playgym.
